How an assignment runs, start to finish.
Eight steps. Two of them are yours; the rest are ours. Nothing is charged or carried out until you have agreed the scope.
- 01
You tell us what you need to know
Your questions in your own words, the location, and whatever you have been told or sent. No account, and no commitment. Hold back title documents, ID and exact coordinates until we ask for them securely.
Your part Send the enquiry.
- 02
We scope the work and quote
We agree exactly which checks are in scope, what each can establish, and what it cannot. Travel, urgency and any specialist involvement are priced openly. You get a checklist, not a vague package.
Your part Read the scope. Ask us to change it if it is not what you need.
- 03
You authorise it
Accepting the scope is your written authorisation. Nothing happens on the ground until then, and the checklist is frozen at that moment — later changes to our templates cannot alter what your report covers.
Your part Accept, decline, or ask us to re-scope.
- 04
An inspector visits and records
Photographs, video, positions and notes, captured against the agreed checklist. Capture time is recorded where the device provides it and left blank where it does not. What could not be checked is recorded as not checked.
Your part Nothing. We will tell you when the visit is scheduled.
- 05
If access fails, that is the finding
Where an inspector cannot get onto the site, the visit is recorded as access-blocked with what was attempted and why it failed. You are never shown a completed report for a visit that did not happen.
Your part Decide whether to retry, and when.
- 06
A reviewer checks the report
A second person reviews the evidence against the findings before anything reaches you. The author of a report cannot publish it. Drafts are never visible to clients — not by link, not by guessing an address.
Your part Nothing.
- 07
You receive the report
Findings, the evidence behind each one, what each does not establish, and the questions still open. Every finding carries its own status. There is no overall score, and a check we could not perform never becomes a pass.
Your part Read it, ask follow-up questions, decide what to do.
- 08
Corrections, if we get something wrong
A correction is issued as a new version stating what changed and why. The earlier version is retained — we do not quietly overwrite what you were already sent.
Your part Tell us if something looks wrong.
Timings are agreed during scoping and depend on distance, access and whose permission a visit needs. We will not advertise a turnaround we have not committed to operationally.
